There are many interesting cars on display at the upcoming Auto Expo, one of which is the electric hatchback MG4. MG Motor India has officially unveiled its electric hatchback. It will be on display at the next event in Hall No: 15.
The MG4 electric hatchback is based on the automaker’s Modular Scalable Platform (MSP), and MG claims the all-electric hatchback is the most technologically advanced EV.
The MG4 hatchback features a sharp and sleek design with recessed headlights and large air dams on either side of the bumper. The EV features vertical fog lights below the traditional headlights and a large MG badging between the headlights where grilles would be located on traditional ICE vehicles.
The MG4 sold in the UK has a 64kWh battery pack and a single motor producing 164.7 bhp or 198.2 bhp. MG will also be launching a more powerful dual motor setup that delivers 437 bhp. As for range, MG claims 450 km on a full charge.
MG4 standard features include a 10.25-inch color touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, MG iSMART app connectivity and the MG Pilot Suite driver assistance system. Optional accessories include heated seats and steering, navigation, a 360-degree camera, and a cell phone Bluetooth key.
Starting at £25,995 (~Rs 24.90 lakh), the MG4 is available in three trims: SE, SE Long Range and Trophy Long Range. As for launching in India, the MG4 will not be available for sale at least for now. Instead, MG has his ZS EV for sale here, priced at his Rs 225,800 and up. MG is also preparing to launch the Air EV in India, which will be shown at the Auto Expo.
