The India-focused Citroën eC3 will be officially unveiled ahead of its February 2023 launch, with pre-orders opening on January 22nd. It has a 29.2kWh battery pack for his claimed ARAI rated range of up to 320km.
The eC3’s electric motor is rated at 57PS and 143Nm. Citroën claimed the EV’s 0-60km/h time of 6.8 seconds, and capped the electric hatchback’s top speed at 107km/h.
The battery pack supports DC fast charging, capable of charging 10-80% in 57 minutes. It takes 10.5 hours to charge from 10% to 100% using a 15A power socket. The charging port is located under the front right fender flap.
The eC3 has similar features to the regular C3, including manual AC, a digitized instrument cluster, and a large 10-inch infotainment touchscreen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
In the center console the gear selector has been replaced with a toggle that acts as a drive selector. The Citroen EV has the same 315 liter luggage space as the ICE model, with a spare tire underneath.
Like the regular C3, the eC3 comes in two variations, Live and Feel. It also offers many customization options and accessories, including three curated style packs with 47 customization options.
The Citroen eC3 electric hatchback is expected to have a starting price of Rs 8.99 lakh (ex showroom). Comparable to Tata Tiago EV and Tigor EV.
