Honda Civic Hybrid, Lucid in Formula E, Uber needs an EV: Today’s Car News


Formula E runs on Lucid motors. Uber is looking for spacious, low-performance EVs for ride-hailing. The Civic Hybrid is the next model Honda will move to about half hybrid. All this and more can be found here at Green Car Reports.

Honda has confirmed that the Civic Hybrid is slated for 2024 as a sedan and hatchback. There are also no immediate plans to offer a plug-in hybrid, except for the CR-V fuel cell.

Formula E’s 3rd generation race car incorporates technology from the manufactured Lucid Air. His car’s front motor unit, which allows significantly higher brake recuperation, is essentially a scaled-down version of Lucid Air’s motor and, in Formula E, is the key to making racing more exciting this year. He’s one.

Uber is also reportedly working with automakers to design EVs specifically for ride-hailing and delivery services. Most notably, such models are optimized for low speeds, and top speeds may be further reduced to save costs.
