The Jeep Avenger is a hero.
The new all-electric subcompact SUV was voted European Car of the Year 2023, beating out the VW ID.Buzz and Nissan Aryia EVs to round out the top three spots in the poll.
The four-door Avenger is shorter in overall length than the Jeep Renegade and two-door Jeep Wrangler and has 249 miles of range on a single charge in European rating systems, which are more generous than the EPA.
Jeep says the front drivetrain is rated at 154 horsepower and the battery can be charged from 20% to 80% in 24 minutes.

To prevent damage and prolong life, the fast charge speed is usually reduced when the vehicle battery is 80% charged.
Unfortunately for American fans, there are no plans to import Polish-made products into the United States. Considered too small for the market, Jeep is developing something else.

The automaker unveiled the Recon and Wagoneer S midsize electric SUV concepts last year, with production versions set to follow in 2024.
The Recon is a Wrangler-style off-road model with boxy styling, and the Wagoneer S is a street-focused vehicle with a high-performance all-wheel drive system rated at 600 hp and 400 miles of range between charges. .

Pricing and exact release dates for the two models haven’t been announced, but the plug-in hybrid Wrangler 4xe, which currently starts at $56,530, was the best-selling plug-in hybrid in the US in 2022.
