Pricing for the new Tata Tiago EV starts at Rs 8.49 lakh for the XE base variant and goes up to Rs 11.79 lakh for the top-end XZ+ Tech Lux variant. Pre-orders started in October last year, but deliveries will begin in January 2023. The electric hatchback model line-up is offered in four trims: XE, XT, XZ+ and XZ+ Tech Lux. There are 19.2kWh and 24kWh battery pack options, with claimed MIDC ranges of 250km and 315km respectively. Citroen eC3

Citroen eC3 revealed

Interested buyers can pre-order the next new Citroen eC3 electric hatchback by paying a total of Rs 25,000. Pricing will be announced in February 2023. We expect the price to be between INR 100,000 and INR 120,000. The eC3 will be available in Live and Feel variants. The powertrain setup includes a 29.2kWh battery pack and electric motor, producing 57bhp and 143Nm. Citroën claims its new mass-market electric vehicle offers a range of 320km on a full charge. There are two driving modes, Eco and Standard, and 0-100km/h acceleration is 6.8 seconds. The eC3 has an electronic speed limit of 107kmph. The MG Air will be a 3-door electric vehicle that is considered more premium than the Tata Tiago EV. This model could be offered at a starting price of Rs 100,000. Air EV with a total length of about 2.9m will be the smallest car in Japan. Official specs for the new MG electric car have yet to be revealed. However, it is reported to use an LFP cell battery with a capacity of around 20-25kWh supplied by Tata Autocomp. The small EV has a cruising range of about 200-300km. Maruti eVX

The Maruti Suzuki eVX Concept, recently shown at this year’s Auto Expo, previews the company’s futuristic design language. Its final production version is expected to hit the market in early 2025. This new multi-electric SUV is his one of the country’s highly anticipated affordable electric vehicles. Designed based on the Bourne EV platform, it has a total length of over 4.2m and a wheelbase of 2700mm. The automaker has confirmed that the EV will be powered by his 60kWh battery pack and will offer a range of 550km.
